June is for Pride, and all across San Francisco (and beyond), restaurants, bars, and even ice cream shops are celebrating with rainbow-hued desserts, dazzling cocktails, drag brunches, and special menus that honor the LGBTQ+ community.
Whether you’re fueling up before the parade, gathering for a special meal, meeting friends for rooftop cocktails, or simply treating yourself to something sweet, this year’s Pride specials aren’t just fun—some even support the LGBTQ+ community with every purchase.

Humphry Slocombe: Pride Ice Cream + Sundae
Putting their money where their mouth is, Humphry Slocombe is proud to partner with the San Francisco LGBT Center to celebrate community, visibility, and joy "one scoop at a time." Throughout June (or while supplies last), Humphry Slocombe will donate $1 from every scoop and pint of their limited-edition Pride flavor sold at all eight Bay Area scoop shops directly to the SF LGBT Center and its vital programs. The vibrant flavor features creamy blueberry-ube ice cream with housemade Fruity Pebbles cookie pieces that put a colorful, crunchy bite in every scoop. To make it even more fabulous, get a sundae topped with marshmallow fluff and even more Fruity Pebbles crunch. Those in the know will appreciate that the purple color was a special request, inspired by the original building at the San Francisco LGBT Center.

Nightbird: Pride-Themed Menu
Nightbird chef Kim Alter has created an entire menu special for Pride Month. Each course showcases a color of the rainbow to represent all members of the LGBTQ+ community. Red, yellow, and orange are represented with a scallop, saffron, and nasturtium farro bread dish; green is the color of turbot, summer squash, and green garlic; and squab, beet, and raspberry are vibrant shades of red. Brown comes to play with Wagyu beef and porcini, pink shines in rhubarb and elderflower, and blue is made up of blueberry, chamomile, and graham. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people.

The Melt: The Harvey Milkshake
SF-born burger brand The Melt reinstates its tribute to the city’s favorite mayor, The Harvey Milkshake, at every one of its California locations this month. One dollar from every vanilla shake topped with rainbow sprinkles goes to benefit Equality California. Though the milkshake will only stick around through June at most shops, it’ll become a permanent fixture at The Melt’s soon-to-open location in SFO’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1 later this summer.

Canela: Cocktail and Menu Specials
The Castro’s Canela will once again offer Pride-themed cocktails and tapas to honor the neighborhood’s heritage and community. Enjoy the Castro Sunset Sangria, their white wine sangria with Spanish vermouth, clementine, pineapple, and a splash of lychee puree, or a Porrón of Pride—a traditional glass wine pitcher designed so that everyone can drink from the same vessel without touching it with their lips.
Tapas for Pride include the Coca of Many Colors, a favorite Spanish-inspired flatbread with a rainbow of oven-roasted vegetables on top, and the rainbow-themed stuffed Spanish tortilla with layers of potato, egg, and onion stuffed with roasted Piquillo peppers, spinach, purple onion, and more. For dessert, there’s a chocolate ganache tart with rainbow mascarpone on top.

Astra and St. Regis Bar: Menu & Cocktail Specials
In honor of Pride month, The St. Regis San Francisco’s signature restaurant Astra is presenting one sweet dish, one savory dish, and an artfully crafted cocktail for a limited time.
On the lunch and dinner menu are tortellini al colore, a handmade tri-color tortellini with lobster, butternut squash puree, rainbow cauliflower, and vibrant herb oil. For dessert, there’s a Rainbow Bundt Cake made with vanilla rainbow cake and topped with whipped white chocolate ganache.
At the St. Regis Bar, they’re slinging the Purple Fizz, a cocktail inspired by the spirit of Pride: a sparkling spectacle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and citrus gin along with a custom tea elixir, a few magical drops of which turn the drink a brilliant shade of purple in front of your eyes.
