Owner/Chef Rick Hackett of Jack London Square’s Pan-American restaurant Bocanova, is continuing his monthly “Rick’s Supper Club” dinners with a Portuguese Wine Dinner tonight. Hackett has put together a menu that pulls inspiration from Spain and Portugal with a New World touch including Portuguese Shrimp Soup, Braised Pork Osso Bucco, and house-made chocolates for dessert. Plus, Bocanova’s Wine Club Director has put together an all Portuguese wine flight to accompany the five-course family-style meal. In this month’s edition of Marin Brewing Co.’sBrews and Views, Executive Director of Save the Bay David Lewis will participate in a discussion about future efforts to prevent the bay from being destroyed. Snacks are complimentary and the full menu will be available for purchase. Sausalito’s Fast Food Francais (F3) is celebrating its one-year anniversary on February 14. In celebration of the milestone, the restaurant is bringing back dishes from the original menu for a limited time only, February 7-21. The throwback menu includes: Le Bleu Burger made with organic grass-fed beef, Fourme D’ambert, chorizo jam, lettuce and tomato; Fried Oysters with cornmeal, Bloody Mary aioli and pickled okra; Poulet Frit, a crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich with gypsy pepper piperade, brie and lettuce; and Lobstah Roll with Maine lobster, green apples, and tarragon aioli on brioche. 4505 Meats cooks up an ode to South Carolina pit master Rodney Scott who lost all his BBQ pits in a fire last November. Head to Dandelion Chocolate for an after hours celebration. They’ll have champagne, chocolate cocktails, delicious desserts, and great dancing tunes.
