Chipotle Cultivate Festival
Chipotle Cultivate Festival is back for another year in Golden Gate Park with musical headliners Neon Tree and chef demos from Dennis Lee, Graham Eliot, Amanda Freitag, and more. But none of that compares to this: Ben & Jerry’s has collaborated with Chipotle to create an exclusive, limited-time flavor of ice cream that will only be available to the first 1,000 people who stop by the Ben & Jerry’s tent at Cultivate. OMG.

Wise Sons + Amanda Freitag
The guys from Wise Sons are cooking dinner with their good friend Amanda Freitag (she recently re-opened old school Empire Diner in NYC, NBD) and we're seriously amped for it. The door of the 24th Street deli will be wide open for people to order from an a la carte menu that's a little bit greasy spoon, a little bit deli, and very delicious.
Sunday, June 8: 5:30 - 9:30 p.m., 3150 24th Street
Seven Stills Speakeasy
Whiskey distilled from beer? This is not a joke. SF-based Seven Stills is joining forces with Fauna Flora in Oakland for a speakeasy event of epic proportions. The event is focused on a pairing of Seven Stills' Whipnose Whiskey and Pac Brew Lab's Whipnose IPA, the beer the whiskey was distilled from for a unique drinking experience. You'll also be able to purchase a flight of all the spirits produced by Seven Stills: vodka, whipnose whiskey, and chocasmoke whiskey (which was distilled from a chocolate oatmeal stout). The folks at Fauna will also be stirring up finely crafted cocktails using Seven Stills vodka.
Sunday, June 8: 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. 1900 Telegraph Ave., Oakland
Visit Morocco via Oakland's Doukkala
Warm colors, a tented ceiling, and cushy seats welcome you at Oakland's new Temescal restaurant, Doukkala. Serving Moroccan inspired California cuisine prepared using French techniques, Doukkala offers half and full portions of Middle Eastern delicacies like Marrakech-style escargot, chorizo stuffed squid a la plancha, and vegetable tagine. For dessert, opt for the crème brulee—with robust flavors like lavender and rose, you won't regret it. Oh, and don't forget to try the spiced berry or sparkling citrus sangrias, they're both light and delicious. 4905 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland
Bonny’s Vineyard and Meyer Family Cellars at Alexander Steakhouse
Alexander’s Steakhouse is hosting a series of winemakers throughout the summer for a special menu pairing. Matt Meyer is now producing wine from a four-acre parcel in Oakville, CA, originally used by his father to make the Silver Oak Reserve bottling. Bonny’s Vineyard Cabernet is made in the classic style that made Silver Oak famous. Working with his mother, Bonny and wife, Karen, Matt is also making syrah, Chardonnay and zinfandel port in the rugged hills of the Yorkville Highlands. Executive Chef Derek Biazo has created a special dinner menu specifically designed to complement each wine’s flavor.
