Free Ellie Goulding Concert + More Super Bowl 50 Kickoff Events

It's that time of year again: The pubs are packed and team logos are being worn loud and proud. To celebrate the start of football season this week, NFL Kickoff is hosting a series of free events in the home of Super Bowl 50.

The full roster of upcoming events includes meet & greets, autograph signings, concert performances, and more. Best of all, all events are free and open to the public. Even if you're not a football fan, don't miss out on these festivities.

What: The NFL Foundation and Super Bowl 50 Host Committee are putting together a football extravaganza that will include a PLAY 60 obstacle course and Imagination Playground set. Gather up the kids and get ready for a day of fun and physical activities!

Where: Sue Bierman Park (Washington & Drumm St.)

When: Wednesday, September 19th: 11:30am - 6pm.

What: The NFL and Hyundai have teamed up to give Bay Area residents a (free!) concert from San Francisco natives and Grammy Award winning group Train, along with multiplatinum singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. Grab a few friends and get ready to jam out to these two killer performers. Then head to a local San Francisco joint and grab a pint after the concert to watch the Steelers-Patriots game.

Where: Justin Herman Plaza (1 Market St.)

When: Thursday, September 10th. Gates open to the public at 2:30pm and will be first come, first serve.

What: Football fans will have the opportunity to break a Guinness World Record by participating in the Back to Football Friday challenge. Help break the record for "Largest Online Photo Album of People Wearing NFL Team Logos" by uploading a selfie in your football gear and hashtagging #NFLFanRecord on Twitter, Instagram, or on NFL Fan Record's website. Gear up and start practicing your poses!

Where: Anywhere that has the best lighting.

When: The challenge starts Thursday, September 10th at 12pm ET and finishes Friday, September 11th at midnight ET.
