Functional Art and a Party from Tiny Sparks Design

By

If you happened to make you way over to Maker Faire a few weeks ago, you just might have found yourself oohing and ahhing in front of the booth of Tiny Sparks Design. The line includes screen prints, coat racks and key racks with designs inspired by nature, and one can see the quality of craftsmanship that goes into each piece. As a furniture maker by trade for the last twenty years, designer Brad Boggie knows his way around a piece of wood, and it shows. With the exception of the works on paper, each piece is made from salvaged or locally harvested wood that has been polished to a warm glow, sturdily rendered to create a pitch perfect mix of form and function. Stop by 3 Fish Studios located in the American Industrial Center in Dogpatch this Friday evening where Boggie will be hosting a party to showcase works from Tiny Sparks Design. You can also check out pieces for sale at the Tiny Sparks Design Etsy shop.
