Madewell Celebrates Its SF Opening With Some Hometown Heroes

By

A little over a month ago, we announced Madewell was opening shop in San Francisco. If you know crafty Madewell, you should expect that this will be no ordinary store — or opening party. To celebrate its San Francisco debut, Madewell and 7x7 teamed up to curate a local line-up to be showcased at the party this Thursday. We combed the city's best stores for some cool goods that complement the brand's youthful flair.

Rhino Animal Box at Rare Device ($49)

In a rainbow of colors, from stationary to caramels to cozy crews, here are your Madewell Hometown Heroes. This Rhino Animal Box, found at Rare Device in Duboce Triangle, makes for a sweet gift for anyone. And did you know this figural box represents a "power" animal — a totem for our individual ambitions? Small, but mighty.

CC Made Artisanal Caramel Candy ($6.50 each)

And no curation is complete without something sweet. Cupcakes are so yesteryear, satiate your sweet tooth with a sticky CC Made Caramel Candy. The Mollusk Surf Shop Fish Crew is also darn darling, as well as the California pencils; gotta love that 840 miles of California coastline. Eureka! It's all cute, just like Madewell.

Madewell opening party, hosted by 7x7, Thursday, 7/14, at San Francisco Shopping Center, 6:00pm -  8:00pm. Get 15% off all jeans. Score.
