Wear What Fits, Fri. at 10 a.m., Union Square, Free: Trade in your ill-fitting jeans (to be donated to Goodwill) for a free pair of Levi's new Curve ID Jeans and stay for a live performance from Zooey Dechanel and M. Ward's band, She & Him. It's first come first served, so get there early.

Big Hair Dolls at BellJar, Fri. from 6-9 p.m., 3187 16th St., Free: Stop by Gallery BellJar for free cocktails and the opening reception for local artist Sara Christian's fashion-oriented watercolor paintings.

Mexico 2010, Fri. from 5-8:45 p.m., 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr., Free: The DeYoung is celebrating the Mexican Bicentennial with a totally free fiesta that includes a collaborative fashion show by AAU students and Irene Hernandez-Feiks and a DIY Mayan Warrior headdress station (that may come in handy for Treasure Island next month).

J-Pop Summit Festival, Sat. from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., 1746 Post St., Free: Head to New People for an over-the-top street festival dedicated to all things J-Pop with the latest kawaii trends from Harajuku, a Pocky eating contest, a handmade market by Bazaar Bizarre SF and loads more.

The Indie Mart, Sun. from 12-8 p.m., 1600 17th St., $3 donation: You know the deal by now - party 'til sundown with live music, drink specials, BBQ, over 85 indie vendors (25% new!) and a rockin' afterparty, all at Thee Parkside.
