The Hyperlocal Wedding Featuring San Francisco's Best

By

Sarah and Simon have known each other since they were kids, but only started dating four years ago — Simon had a ponytail when they were younger, and as Sarah puts it, "That wasn't going to happen." Both raised in Connecticut and now living together in Potrero Hill, Simon and Sarah's intimate wedding tapped into amazing local locations all over San Francisco, especially in the Mission neighborhood. Even their wedding rings were made by a local designer!

The wedding was held at the Stable Cafe in the Mission, and followed with a cocktail hour on an open top bus that toured them and their East Coast guests through the city. With champagne in a can and local beer, they toured locations like the Palace of Fine Arts, the Cliff House, Dolores Park, and more. Returning to Stable Cafe for the reception, their food was all local and organic, with local wines and rented china plates and mason jars for dinnerware. Instead of flowers, they rented terraniums and succlents to decorate the tables and venue. Guests were even given an assortment of Craftsman & Wolves pastries, a favorite of the newlyweds. With pies from Mission Pie for dessert, they finished off their special day by heading around the corner to Mission Bowling Club for their bowling afterparty.
