This comes on the heels of quite the year of activity, which includes a track on A$AP Rocky's #1 debut album, LONGLIVEA$AP, a contribution to Adult Swim's Singles program featuring Mykki Blanco, and the production of Main Attraktionz' next album, 808's and Dark Grapes III. Cross-dressing crooner Carletta Sue Kay released a collaborative EP with Pruno Truman, aka Heidi Alexander of The Sandwitches, wherein they cover each other's songs and debut an original tune as well. East Bay punks Emily's Army, whose drummer is Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong's 18-year-old son Joey Armstrong, released a song called "The Rescuers," and it definitely seems like they did nothing to hide the fact that they are comfortable with sounding like a cookie-cutter version of Green Day.
