Mike and Carley met in 2006 in what they describe as “true Chicago fashion” – over a beer. The two connected after friends had a feeling they would be a good pair and dragged them to a neighborhood bar.
From there the two began their life together and in 2010 decided it was time for a big change. Mike had always wanted to live in California and after just one visit to San Francisco the two decided to move across the country.
In May 2011 Mike proposed to Carley on a trip to Yosemite. The two got engaged on the top of Yosemite falls, surrounded by the drama and beauty of nature. But, when it came to choosing their wedding location they decided that there was no better place in the world than their new hometown.
The couple finally decided on the Presidio Chapel and Golden Gate Yacht Club on their big day to show off the beauty of the bay, Golden Gate Bridge and the Marina neighborhood where they live. Their beautiful ceremony was a true celebration with their closes friends and family.
