Wedding Inspiration: A pair of sporty adventure seekers throws a rager at Bently Reserve

When Ray Almeda posted a skydiving deal to his Facebook page hoping to gather a group of friends to go, just one person replied: a new friend, Lorraine Aceron.

The outing was cancelled, but that didn't stop the pair from checking out the Academy of Sciences and later hooking up for beers at Buffalo Bills Brewing in Hayward. When they at last did take that 13,000-foot plunge and arrived safely back on land, Almeda got down on one knee. "Operation Lovefall" was deemed a success.

They planned a posh party beginning at San Francisco's Omni Hotel with primping—the bride wore Vera Wang, the groom donned Tom Ford—and a gift exchange—video games for her, and a Warriors jacket for him (Almeda is a die-hard Golden State memorabilia collector and attends at least 50 games each season).

The action junkies shared a regal ceremony at USF's ornate Saint Ignatius Church alongside bridesmaids swathed in flowing crimson gowns and groomsmen in grey suits and black ties.

Ready to celebrate, the wedding party made their way to downtown's Bently Reserve, where round tables were covered in lilac linens and set with two-tiered floral arrangements bursting with cream roses and orchids. The space was pimped out to the max and rager-ready with an LED video wall and dance platforms, DMX lighting show, CO2 cannons, custom audio visual products, and all the EDM.

Capping it all off was a presentation by Golden State Warriors hypeman Franco Finn and a three-layer cake with a bride and groom harnessed in parachutes. Their corgi also made an appearance on the celebratory confectionary as well as in cardboard cutouts at their table.
