MIDWAYVILLE: a Pop-up Interactive Game World

What: Starting this Friday and lasting through August, MIDWAYVILLE, a mixed reality pop-up theme park, will be making its debut at SoMa StrEat Park. Wind down your busy week with a chill evening of fun-filled, carnival-fueled merriment, DJ's, entertainment and immersive theater. You can even bring the kids. Tickets range from $10-$25.

When: Every Friday starting June 24th, 7-11:30 p.m.

Tony Gemignani and SF Giants Collaborate to Support George Mark Children's House

What: 12-time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani is joining forces with San Francisco Giants Joe Panik and Brandon Belt at his 2nd Street Slice House to create two signature pies inspired by the players, with partial sales benefitting the George Mark Children's House. Choose from either The Panik Parm (breaded chicken cutlets, sliced mozzarella, tomato sauce, garlic, grated parmigiano, oregano and olive oil) or the Belt's Monster Meat (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red and green onions, bell pepper, shaved parmigiano, and romano cheese and a side of chili oil). $1 from each player's custom slice and $6 from each full pie sold will be donated to George Mark Children's House. The goal is to raise $5,000.

Ode to Fire Cooking

What: Local cook, baker, and photographer Eric Wolfinger returns to the kitchen this weekend to prepare a special menu inspired by his world travels—think ceviche, chorizo and clams, beef ribeye and riblets all cooked over an open flame. The multi-course feast will be paired generously with rare spirts and wines as well as live music. All proceeds go to local art project, Analog Pegasus, a multi-use interactive art-car to be built at Burning Man. Plates are going for $150 per person.

When: Saturday, June 25th, 6–10:30 p.m.

Leafly Cannabis Comedy Tour Returns to the West Coast

What: Leafly is bringing back its cannabis comedy show with comedian Eric André, and special guests Adam Ray, Brandon Wardell and host Chris Nester. Eric André is the creator and host of The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim and plays Mike on the FXX series Man Seeking Woman. Best of all, this event is free of charge and will be giving away fun door prizes! So RSVP because tickets are on a first come first serve basis.

LUCKYRICE San Francisco Feast

What: LUCKYRICE strives to celebrate Asian food culture through large-scale feasts, festive dinners, and gastronomic gathers from coast to coast. Chef Kathy Fang of Fang Restaurant will be hosting this year's San Francisco's feast celebrating the Bay Area's evolving Asian culinary scene. The chef line-up spotlights include Asian Box, Azalina's, E&O Kitchen and Bar, Dosa, Hawker Fare, Hakkasan, Burmese Kitchen Delivery, Restaurant Anzu, Buffalo Theory, PABU, and The Ramen Bar.
