A horde of sunkissed, chic denizens took part in the inaugural St. Regis PoloCup at the Wine Country Polo Club in Sonoma Valley on Saturday. Were you there? You should have been. Because you missed devastatingly handsome polo player Nacho Figueras (known as "the David Beckham of polo") who wowed the crowd with his relentless mallet wielding prowess. (Also of importance: They did the "stomping of the divots," a time honored tradition made famous in Pretty Woman.)
The St. Regis Polo Cup raised more than $40,000 for Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center, a non-profit dedicated to helping the lives of disabled children through the benefits of therapeutic horse riding.
