Things are getting dark tomorrow. Everyone's urged to switch off lights and shut down power between 8:30–9:30 pm for Earth Hour, a global effort organized by the World Wildlife Fund and will be observed by some of the world’s most famous landmarks, including our very own Golden Gate Bridge.
This year many local restaurants and bars will be hosting Earth Hour events. The W Hotel’s XYZ will be offering wine and organic snacks by candlelight and an unplugged performance by local indie rockers The Hundred Days and 5% of all proceeds will go towards Save the Bay.
So whether you’re at home or in the streets, help make this a real power hour.
