Hand targeting is a great way to redirect your dog's attention and keep him focused. It also helps to get your dog through a space.

Start by having a high value treat in one hand.

Tuck it underneath you thumb.

When your dog touches your hand with his nose,  reward.

Repeat several times.

Use an empty hand, present your hand and when he touches your hand with his nose, reward. Repeat.
