Mini Movie Marathon Honors Anniversary of Robin Williams' Death

By

It's been a year since the late, great Robin Williams died and left the Bay Area heartbroken in his wake. To celebrate the actor's comedic genius and a lifetime spent making us laugh, SoMa StrEat Foods and FunCheapSF are joining forces to throw a Robin Williams movie marathon of epic proportions.

On August 15, starting at noon and ending in the wee hours of the morning, the park will screen more than ten hours of his classic roles.

So, far the itinerary includes:

- Jumanji (1995), Noon
- Good Will Hunting (1997), 2pm
- Dead Poet's Society (1989), 4:30pm
- The Birdcage (1996), 7pm
- Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), 9:30pm

The event is free to the public and all are welcome to enjoy and remember Robin Williams. A dozen rotating food trucks will be on hand, along with free popcorn for all attendees. Just remember to bring blankets and coats to battle the late-night fog.

Saturday, August 15, noon to midnight, SoMa StrEat Food Park, 428 11th St.
