PHILZ OPENS LARGE NEW LOCATION ON CASTRO STREET 

Beloved coffee shop, Philz has moved from its small 18th Street location to a larger storefront on Castro St, roughly twice the size of its former locale. The newest iteration of Caviar's Fastbite program promises to feed your entire office for just $10. NEW CHEF IN RESIDENCE AT MoAD 

TheMuseum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) is launching it first chef-in-residence program led by James Beard award-winning chef Bryant Terry. Through the unprecedented partnership, Chef Terry aims to raise awareness on issues surrounding health, food, and farming by engaging local communities through educational workshops, author-series lectures, and other events that marry food and culture. // moadsf.org

GRAND FARE MARKET OPENS IN OAKLAND 

Bay Area restaurateur Doug Washington opened the doors to Grand Fare Market in Oakland on Wednesday. The Market, which sits just steps away from Lake Merritt, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner to enjoy in their lively outdoor space as well as to-go orders.
