1) Young Travel Professionals Networking Event at Tonga Room

If you’re in the travel and hospitality industry, or looking to get into said industry, travel to the Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar at The Fairmont San Francisco for happy hour this Wednesday. From 5:30 to 8:00 pm you’ll find the future generation of the local travel and hospitality industry in San Francisco. You’ll also find beers for $5 - $6, wines beginning at $8 per glass, and well drinks starting at $7. The event is free to join, and there’s no need to RSVP. 950 Mason @ California

2) Battle of the Decades DJ Party at Monroe

You don’t have to be in the travel industry to travel through time at Monroe. The Battle of the Decades DJ Party has moved to Friday, when it kicks off at 7 pm with 70’s music and $1 cocktails and beers. At 8 pm, the 80’s music starts and drink prices double to $2. The 90s music and $3 drinks kick in at 9 pm. By 10 pm, drinks are $4, and the DJ is spinning current top 40, electro and hip hop. Taco prices are not subject to hourly inflation; they’re $1.50 all night, on the patio. Admission is free if you “like” the Battle of the Decades fan page on Facebook. If you are celebrating a special occasion or bringing an entourage (8 or more in your group), email monroeloungeinfo@gmail.com with your name, expected time of arrival, and number of guests to reserve a complimentary booth. 473 Broadway @ Kearny

3) Australia Day Party & Sausage Sizzle at Cosmo Lounge

Be an Aussie, bring an Aussie, or just party like an Australian, this Saturday at the Second Annual SF Beer Olympics Australia Day Party and Sausage Sizzle at Cosmo Lounge. The festivities begin at 5 pm with a free Sausage Sanga (sausage with onions and sauce on white bread) for the first 50 people to arrive. Aussies visiting SF will be rounded up to ring in Australia Day with locals by playing Aussie-themed drinking games, drinking Australian beers, listening to music streamed live from Down Under, competing in the Best Dressed Bogan Contest, and eating vegemite on toast. Entry is free before 10 pm with Facebook RSVP and a drink purchase. Beers are 5 for $10 until 9:30 pm and 5 for $15 after that. Arrive by 6 pm to play the “Neighbours” Team Drinking Challenge. 440 Broadway @ Kearny

4) Cocktails To Go at Presidio Social Club

If the thought of cheap beer and chex mix brings you down, Presidio Social Club is prepared to lift your spirits this Sportsball Season. They’re bottling cocktails to go, which means you can survive Super Bowl Sunday by bringing your own Barrel Aged Negroni made with gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. As winter continues, you can inoculate yourself against impending March Madness with Barrel Aged Reasons Rye, a cocktail of rye, punt e mes, Cointreau and orange bitters. Both cocktails are packaged in stylish bottles with a vintage flair. Each bottle sells for $42 and contains four to six servings over ice. 563 Ruger Street, Presidio National Park

5) #HellaFunny BYOB Comedy Show @ Great Star Theater

Great Star Theater is offering the perfect opportunity to field-test those bottled cocktails from Presidio Social Club before Super Bowl Sunday. This Saturday at 8 pm, #HellaFunny BYOB Comedy night is encouraging the audience to “bring your own booze” to the stand up comedy show at Great Star Theater. Saturday’s line-up features Tony Sparks (host), Stroy Moyd (Oddball Festival, opened for Dave Chappelle), Stevie Post (Punchline), and Matt Curry (Cobbs Comedy Club). The show is $15 through Eventbrite, or free if you RSVP via SF FunCheap. 636 Jackson @ Kearny
