1. Rumors Opens: Courthouse types and fans of the Folsom corridor will be glad to know that another bar has arrived in the area (in addition to recently opened Raven). Rumors, on the corner of 7th and Harrison, is ostensibly a sports bar, but the atmosphere is pretty rarefied, with red walls, Edison-bulb lamps, and a mirrored back bar. All the regular sports-bar pleasures are still available, though, including flat-screens, pub grub, pool, darts, and cocktails like the Desert Heat (tequila, cucumber, jalapeno, lime) and the 1820 (rye, maraschino, lemon juice, orange bitters). Their happy hour, from 4-8 pm, features $3 beers and $4 well drinks. (Daily, 10 a.m.-2 a.m., 398 7th St., SOMA).
2. Spring Cocktails of the Farmers' Market: CUESA's semi-annual celebration of seasonal produce and booze has come around again tonight, with bartenders from Fifth Floor, 15 Romolo, the Hotsy Totsy Club, Rickhouse, Jasper's, Dosa, and Delarosa serving up smaller sips to accompany two full-size cocktails made with Herradura tequila. The $40 admission includes all the drinks, as well as bites from Romolo, Fifth Floor, Puccini & Pinetti, and Il Cane Rosso. 3. Golden Gate Bridge Cocktails at Jardiniere: The anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge this weekend has brought out a bevy of drink specials, starting with a stand by Alcademics' Camper English behind the Jardiniere bar this evening. He'll be serving up his own creation, the Golden Gate 75 ($9), a take on the French 75 with blood-orange juice, Campari, California sparkling wine, simple syrup, and bitters. To pair with the drink, the bar will also offer $9 Green Goddess sliders, and all proceeds will benefit HandsOn Bay Area, which creates local volunteering opportunities. 4. Golden Gate Weekend at Bluestem Brasserie: On the cheaper end of bridge celebrations, Bluestem Brasserie will be rolling back their pricing to 1937 levels. The bar will offer 75-cent cans of Hamm's beer, served with under-$1 bar bites like housemade corn dogs. Why Hamm's? Turns out it was brewed on Bryant Street from 1954 to 1972, back when microbreweries were just a glimmer in the city's eye. (Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at Bluestem Brasserie, One Yerba Buena Lane, Mid-Market).
5. Golden Gate Bridge Parties at the Redwood Room: Want to celebrate the bridge's anniversary '30s style? Consider stopping by the Redwood Room this weekend, where they'll be offering gin fizzes and vespers from Distillery No. 209, jazz and blues from Lavay Smith & the Red Hot Skillet Lickers, and black-and-white films of the city projected on the wall. All you have to bring is your best '30s ensemble; the Great Depression part won't even be that hard to fake. RSVP here to get in.
