Build Your Own Haute Dog
Think you can come up with a better “haute dog” than Craftsman and Wolves? Now is your chance to prove it. Just in time for the Fourth of July, Craftsman and Wolves is offering a four-pack of their mustard-seed croissant haute dog buns for $10, so you can create your own American staple. Then post your delicious creation on Instagram, tag #youcouldbeawiener and @craftsmandwolves, before July 6 for a chance to win a free Rebel Within and a free monthly coffee. Anniversary Dinner at Acquerello
Acquerello continues its alumni guest chef dinner with Nathan Lockwood, chef-owner of Altura Restaurant in Seattle, who served as chef de cuisine at Acquerello when it was awarded its first Michelin star. The ten-course, seafood menu includes: Mendocino sea urchin, razor clam, sweet corn sformato, filone, big island abalone, pappardelle, snake river ribeye cap, wood sorrel granite, and vanilla run semifreddo with an affogato to finish.

New Cocktail Bar
San Francisco loves a good cocktail and good music. Hawthorn, the city’s newest cocktail bar, which opened Tuesday on Geary Street, has both. The signature bar menu was created by Ethan Terry (Alembic, 15 Romolo) and features seven unique drinks such as the Mucho Melon Sour, a zesty mix of vodka, fresh cantaloupe, housemade jalapeño juice, lemon, Chareau Aloe liqeur, and egg white.

Napa Valley Festival del Sole
Returning for its ninth season, the 10-day festival in Wine Country features world-class music, jazz, opera, and ballet along with curated culinary delights, wine, and wellness adventures. From glamorous gala evenings to lively wine tastings, Festival del Sole has more than 60 adventures for every interest and budget including a series of free community concerts.

Chicken and Beer
You can now order a cold one to go with your chicken at Proposition Chicken in Mid-Market. Curated by Elizabeth Wells (Southpaw BBQ, Southern Cooking) the chicken joint is now offering one red wine, one white, and one sparkling in addition to a list of local brews that includes Anchor Lager, Headlands Pt. Bonita Pilsner, 21st Amendment’s Back in Black, as well as selections from Drake’s and Anderson Valley.
