Plin Launches Brunch and Expanded Hours 

Starting this weekend Chef Alexander Alioto will churn out such brunch classics as baked french toast, sweetbread omelets, grilled skirt steak paninis, and crispy polenta cakes with poached eggs, every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Pabu's New Cocktail Menu 

Pabu just introduced six seasonal Japanese-inspired cocktails to the menu. Using Japanese ingredients — like house-made shrubs and pickles — the cocktails vary in spirits and flavors, ranging from the AUTUM (Junmai sake, coconut, honey syrup, and yuzu) to the YAKUZA 3.5 (white oak Akashi whisky, jasmine tea, and lemongrass falernum). 101 California

Adult Pizza Party at Tony's 

Tony Gemignani, 11-time World Pizza Champion and featured chef in the October issue of 7x7, will celebrate the launch of his third cookbook, The Pizza Bible, with a big party at Tony’s Pizza Napoletana on Tuesday, October 21 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. To attend, all you have to do is purchase a copy of his cookbook for entry ($29). Food Stories: From Burma to the Bay 

On Monday, October 20, some of the best chefs in San Francisco will be cooking up delicious dishes inspired by their homelands, including delicacies from Atelier Crenn's Chris Bleidorn, Nojo's Greg Dunmore, Radio Africa & Kitchen's Eskender Aseged, and dessert from CREAM. With Dia de los Muertos just around the corner, La Cocina is prepping for the food-centric holiday with a culinary walk through Mexican history from cookbook author and Mexican food historian Adriana Lahl of Sal de Vida.
