RaeSet Asian Grill & Craft Brew, A Hidden Gem in Napa Valley

By

RaeSet is an Asian-fusion restaurant brought to you by Maury and Willa Feaver, alongside partner Barry Shinto, who set out to bring Napa unique food and amazing brews in a casual environment—and we're not complaining.

The menu was crafted by Shinto, a noted chef and personal friend of the Feavers, who shows off his many skills and creativity with a tasty mashup of flavors that includes house-made specialities such as pickles and sriracha sauce and tasty bites such as bao buns and tsukune spring rolls. Shinto's knowledge of both Asian and French techniques shines in this unlikely location. Shinto even turned to friend and famed cookbook author Andrea Nguyen to learn how to make the perfect pho.

The casual restaurant contains a mixture of communal and separate dining, four big screen TVs (so you always have a place to watch the game), a bar with 22 craft beers on tap, and a private dining room with a full-sized movie screen for corporate meetings. Drop in for late-night happy hour on weeknights, regular happy hour on weekends, live music on Fridays, and brunch on weekends accompanied by live music.

Part of the charm of RaeSet is that it's a little off the beaten path. Inside a non-descript mall, you'll have no problem finding parking at this Wine Country hot spot.

// Raeset is open until 11pm on weeknights, 12 pm on weekends, and 9pm on Sundays. For more information, check out their website here.
