Inspiration for a Vintage-Style Wedding

Inspiration for a Vintage-Style Wedding

By

Six vintage gowns, two models, one stylist and a photographer arrived in the hills of the Napa Valley for this styled shoot. Inspired by a valley that loves a good vintage, welcomes weddings, and oozes natural beauty. What better place to shoot these gorgeous vintage wedding gowns?

A magical french style private estate served as our backdrop to showcase the vintage wedding and party gowns. Tina Becker of Crush Vintage selected the dresses and accessories for the day.

To see both dresses (one a Emma Domb 60's frothy confection with ruched bodice and lavender sash; the other a 50's tulle skirted frock with sweetheart satin bodice) sitting atop the billowy grass was breathtaking! Next, we put Bre in the amazing Gunne Sax 70's boho maxi dress with corset bodice. Watching her walk barefoot in the backlit fern grotto...dreamy. Valley Flora provided the romantic florals for the shoot. Their creativity and craftsmanship make the flowers shine!

The last wedding dress of the day to shoot was a 30's empire waisted french lace gown with puffed sleeves. Such a unique and stunning dress. Katrina rocked it amongst the Madrone and Birch trees. The texture of the trees coupled with the delicate lace of the dress was perfect. Lastly, the ladies slipped into two vintage party gowns. Bre frolicked around the estate in a 50's all lace, full skirted, bow back dress. And, Karina wasn't far behind her in an Emma Domb Organza Frock with accordion pleats and back satin rosette.
