The 2011 Hot 20 Under (And Over) 40: Readers' Choice Nominations Now Open!
Tim Lincecum, Chris Kronner and Anthony Strong and Jane Kim, all former Hot 20s.
Every October, we publish our Hot 20 Under 40, a series of profiles on the city's most up-and-coming movers and shakers. Former Hot 20s have included local luminaries such as Tim Lincecum, Twitter founders Jack Dorsey and Biz Stone, Chris Kronner and Anthony Strong, Digg founder Kevin Rose, cyclist Levi Leipheimer, Supervisor Jane Kim, Dwell Editor in Chief Allison Arieff, Michael Mina, novelist Stephen Elliott (whose newest book rights were just bought by James Franco), 49er Vernon Davis and designer Alexander Wang. We're gearing up to select our 2011 class and are now accepting submissions for the Readers' Choice spot. This year, we’ve decided to take away the “under 40” age rule, since fabulousness knows no limit.
So send in your submissions! Your nominee must be a Bay Area resident who is shaking things up and poised to do great things in the coming years. We're looking for nominations across all areas and disciplines: arts, science, tech, food, politics, design, sports, environmentalism, literature ... you name it.
Send in your nomination, along with a short paragraph explaining your choice to hot20@7x7.com. We'll be accepting nominations until June 27th at midnight. We'll narrow the nominations down to our top 49 picks, and reader voting will begin on July 1. The winner of the popular vote will be included as the Readers' Choice pick in our 2011 Hot 20, which will be published in our October 2011 issue.

I have to say that the in a row here was the most absolute that I found anywhere. I am positively bookmarking painting contractors ma this to come back and read later.

He has by now done great belongings and is on the path to responsibility even better belongings.
I stumbled across this today and definitely would recommend Amy Andersen without question. Andersen has worked for over a decade at building her dating and social network, Linx Dating, and has a tremendous understanding of what it means to be a business woman but also do what I consider to be the hardest thing in the world which is not only managing a massive group of client but actually figuring out how to match them to one another, old school style. Gives online dating a run for their money.

My BF loves when I wore a flitted hoodie sweatshirt with leddings and boots. As long as you pair your preferred uggs with the correct outfit, you can turn your appear from drab to fab instantly!
Linx Dating and Amy Anderson.
Is this poll closed or open? I know Linx Dating founder is not in her 20's and she seems to definitely be under 40, so I would like to Amy Anderson. She is incredibly tenacious, expressive, cerebral, and beyond dedicated to her clients. I was at a wedding with her last night- she matched the coupled- whose wedding we were at. Amy is not only very attractive but I can tell a very serious business woman- no BS, highly intuitive, friendly, and appears to have really tapped into a great niche market- Silicon Valley matchmaking and linking professionals there to San Francisco. It is rare to see a young entrepreneur who has really made a name for herself.

I second the nomination for Ike Shehadeh, owner of Ike's Place. And Tiffany covered some of the many reasons he is perfect for this nomination.
I nominate Ike Shehadeh, owner of Ike's Place. Ike has donated more than his fair share to many local charities and he is seen making and handing out sandwiches for the homeless who come in. He has lived in San Francisco his entire life and he strives to continue to put forth the efforts to make it a better place for residents and business owners alike. He has a big heart and is warm to everyone, even when they are not warm towards him. He has already done great things and is on the path to doing even greater things.
I am nominating Liz Caruana of Liz Caruana Photos.
Liz is a well established San Francisco fashion photographer who has big plans for the coming years. The project she has in the works is one that has already caught the attention of the movers and shakers within the San Francisco art and fashion community and is unlike anything that has been done before. Her ambition, professionalism, and creativity will make this endeavour an absolute success and will surely grant her the acclaim she is due.
This list wouldn't be complete without her!
I am nominating Liz Caruana because she is undoubtedly one of the most talented artists living in SF today. She has the ability to see the world in the most unique ways and manages to capture so many of these images through stunning and simply beautiful photographs. When her face isn't behind the camera, you'll likely find her banging away on her drum kit, searching for the next great band, or training for a half marathon. Needless to say, Liz has incredible amounts of energy that she fearlessly throws into her work each and every day. Liz Caruana is definitely a name that you will want to remember! If she's accomplished all that she has before 40, I can't wait to see what she does in the years to come.
And she's one hot chick!
I am nominating Liz Caruana, an amazing SF photographer. Besides having a wicked sense of humor, her energy and joie de vivre is wonderful to experience. I've seen her start her day with a 10 mile run and immediately return to set up and shoot a fashion editorial and then usher her stylists and models out the door, lock up and run off, tickets in hand, to see the opera. Loves doing it all and is definitely going places.
I'd like to nominate Michael Brune, Sierra Club Executive Director.
Since taking the reigns of the Sierra Club, the largest environmental group in the country, Michael Brune has ratcheted up the group's Beyond Coal campaign--credited with stopping 150 new coal plants and the global warming emissions and toxic pollution that come with them. Under Brune's leadership, the group is tightening the screws on Big Coal even more. With climate legislation off the table, Brune and his campaign are the biggest game in town when it comes to stopping coal (which creates 30 percent of global warming pollution).
Plus, he's extremely cute.
