Don't Miss The Whole Enchihuahua, This Saturday in Dolores Park!

By

We're all about dogs, but this time of year, we're especially looking out for the mighty chihuahua. Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes are over half of the dogs in shelters, and these bundles of personality need your help to find loving homes! Luckily, we have the SF SPCA on our side. These hard-working folks find homes for over 5,000 cats and dogs each year. That's why we're excited for their partnership when it comes to The Whole Enchihuahua 2013, taking place this Saturday, May 18, in gorgeous Dolores Park!

Not only is The Whole Enchihuahua a super fun costume contest open to dogs of all shapes and sizes, it's a great way to decompress before Bay to Breakers and get in the spirit of dressing up. The competition is fierce, and amazing prizes and bragging rights are at stake; click here to catch a glimpse of what past pups have shown up wearing!

Don't have a costume? No problem! Spin the prize wheel to win one at the event. No dog? We'll help you meet adoptable dogs who would love to go home with you! To sweeten the deal, the SF SPCA is offering free Chihuahua adoptions and free Chihuahua spay/neuter through the end of May.
