Christian Louboutin

Journey to SF's local Maiden Lane Louboutin boutique and get your ink on. Inside the store, the Tattoo Parlor offers custom, tattoo-inspired embroidery using one of three techniques to deck out your new pair of Louboutins. The service, which takes three months to complete, was inspired by the shoe designer’s admiration for body art. Custom shoes start start at $1,066; Christian Louboutin (Union Square)

Manolo Blahnik

Step into Neiman Marcus and slip on your designer's cap—their Made-to-Order Blahnik BB Boutique gives you creative control. The selections include five heel heights and 20 colors from which to choose, including leather, suede, patent leather, glitter, animal prints, and floral. The Italian factory will send your bespoke BBs your way in 10-12 weeks, so you can step pretty in time for summer. Custom shoes start at $595; Neiman Marcus (Union Square)
