Bonobos' San Francisco Guideshop Now Open For Personal Shopping Business

Web-based Bonobos is the shopping destination for men seeking style with a classic and sometimes preppy twist, while also expecting top-notch customer service. Their no-nonsense website showcases their affordable, fit-oriented clothing. Their latest expansion brings their accessible men's fashion to the streets with shoppable showrooms called Guideshops, and San Francisco's Union Square location is open indefinitely.
It's recommended you book an appointment, which is easy to do because the Guideshop is open every day. Styling appointments are complimentary, and the best way to get the VIP experience. The inviting shop resembles a condensed retail store, but it's crowd-free–an open space for you and your stylist.

Your visit begins with inquiries about your wardrobe and your style, what you're looking for, and other pinpointing. Your personal stylist will also offer you a coat check and water. This one-on-one experience takes the work out of shopping for men, and gets right down to the good stuff: Finding style solutions. Bonobos stylists are trained in fit and style, and they know the clothing inside out, so there is little room for error. If something doesn't work, the stylist will quickly bring you a solution. All you have to do is admire yourself in the mirror, feel the clothes out, and enjoy the attention.
Because the stylists, ambience and clothes have a casual vibe, the environment is low pressure. If you are inclined to more formal clothing, Bonobos has suits and blazers as well. High rollers may take to the Hugh Hefner-esque silk robe and custom tuxedo service.

Once you've made your decisions, your stylist will place your order and your new items will arrive via 2nd day air. All your sizing and order history will be saved in your account for easy reordering.
Bonobos offers shirting, denim, sweaters, outerwear, shoes and accessories, but it all started with their best-selling snap button clasp pants. Bonobos seems to always hit the nail on the head with timing. They launched in 2007, when the male grooming trend was gaining momentum. It was obvious people liked the online Bonobos experience, so retail exploration followed suit. Last year, they opened a store in New York and inked a deal with Nordstrom. And now, Guideshops are popping up nationwide. Here's to more dapper men in fine-fitting clothes across the country and in San Francisco.
Bonobos Guideshop San Francisco, 55 Grant Avenue, 2nd floor. Hours of operation: Sunday 11am-6pm, Monday through Friday 10am-8pm and Saturday 10am-7pm.
