Street Style Report: Four Stylish Halloween Looks in Nob Hill
Photos by Kimberly Bartel.
We called upon Old Navy visual stylist and Guam native, Robert Shabazz, to cook up some stylish Halloween looks. From a dapper, dancing Sammy Davis Jr. (above) to a iPad-reading, shoe-tying modern Mr. Rogers, here's what he came up with.
Sammy Davis Jr.: American Apparel shirt; H&M tie, jacket and pants; Vintage tie clip, purchased at Wasteland; Black patent shoes from Zara; Haircut from Bonnie at Hair on Hyde.

James Dean: H&M white t-shirt, black pants and oxford shoes; Denim jacket by Levi's; "Love Always" tattoo done at Lyle Tuttle.

Billy Budd: White button-down shirt, custom made in Guam; Marni for H&M scarf; Pants from H&M; Casio watch, purchased from American Apparel; Deena & Ozzy white canvas oxfords, purchased at Urban Outfitters.

Modern Mr. Rogers: White button-down shirt, from American Apparel; Topman floral tie; Vintage red cardigan, purchased from Wasteland; Black pants from H&M; Uniqlo polka-dotted socks; Comme des Garcon for Converse sneakers, purchased from Shotwell; Burberry watch; Apple iPad.

Seven style questions for Robert:
1. What was your best Halloween costume?
A few years ago, the visual merchandising team I was on dressed as the entire Jon & Kate +8 clan. It was the best group costume collaboration I've ever been a part of. I'm a sucker for current event costumes though. This year, I'm trying to convince a good friend of mine and her boyfriend to dress as Michelle Obama and Mitt Romney having a secret affair!
2. What are you always packing?
Earbuds, hand sanitizer, a notepad, pen, oil blot sheets and a book.
3. What's your go-to scent?
My all-time favorite is L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent. It works so well year round and can be used for every social situation.
4. I like a man in...
I like a man in slim-cut trousers and an Oxford button-down.
5. What's your greatest style peeve?
Suspenders worn with belts. It just doesn't make sense.
6. What's on your wish list?
A leather paper bag. With the new 10 cent per bag law in San Francisco, it would be the perfect accessory.
7. What's your SF Top 5?
Fly Bar, Churchill, Puerto Alegre, Therapy Home Furnishings, Welcome Stranger.
