Northstar is not the only Tahoe resort giving away free skiing this spring. To make up for the less-than-stellar conditions this time of year, several additional resorts in the area are giving away free buddy lift tickets to visitors who gas up at a participating Shell Station in Nevada. Participating Shell stations in Nevada are giving out SKI FREE® vouchers for one free lift ticket when you purchase 10 gallons of fuel. Once you get your fuel and have your voucher and receipt stamped by the gas attendant, every lift ticket you purchase will be accompanied by a second lift ticket for free.

The participating Lake Tahoe resorts are Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Homewood and Sierra-at-Tahoe. SKI FREE® offer is valid January 2-April 19, 2013, or until resorts close for the season, or otherwise noted. Other caveats you should be aware of are that the lift ticket and purchased adult lift ticket must be used on the same day, and both guests must be present at resort lift ticket window at time of redemption.
