So You Think You Can Dance (And Make it Snow)?

Attention clubbers: Do you have the right moves to dance up a storm?
Literally?
Well, the folks at Go Tahoe North certainly hope so.
With the dreams of a white Christmas unrealized and the ski and snowboard terrain and conditions running the gamut from somewhat limited to decidedly grim, the marketing arm for the resorts and lodges around the north end of Big Blue are desperate to try any means to coax a few flakes to fall from the sky.
To that end Go Tahoe North is conducting a Snow Dance Contest, inviting anyone to put their precipitation-inducing skills on video and upload them on Facebook. Go Tahoe North will determine the participant with the most creative and entertaining dance, and the winner of the Snow Dance Contest, which is running live on Facebook until 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, will score a four-pack of Ski Tahoe North’s interchangeable lift tickets for the 2011-12 season. The tickets will be accepted at Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Homewood, Mt. Rose, Northstar, Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl.
So get out there and salsa for snow or plié for powder. It just might work.
