7x7 threw a party with Athleta—here's what happened

By

When Athleta asked us to throw a bash celebrating their new Up for Anything tights, we said hell yes!

It was a full house at Athleta's Burlingame store on January 25th, when 7x7 fitness fans came to party in honor of the brand's new Up for Anything tights. (For ladies who know the meaning of ultra-soft leggings with secret pockets and super staying powers, these babies are truly worth celebrating). But how does one commemorate the launch of killer leggings anyway?

We got crunk—on a colorful array of fresh juices, veggies and snacks from Urban Remedy, that is. But there was also bubbly and Third Culture mochi muffins—for balance, hello.

More than 200 fitness enthusiasts came by to delve into our #UpForAnything experience. We posed before the snazzy photo booth from Sharingbox; got styled in cool Athleta gear by local fitness guru Kat Chen; and watched in awe as Outdoor Yoga SF instructor Nicole Cronin showed off her moves (those inversions!) in the store's window. And, to put those fancy tights into action, we got moving on the dance floor, grooving to the sweet beats of DJ Hawke. There were even raffle prizes every 20 minutes with giveaways from Athleta and Cronin—lucky winners received yoga classes, tights, gift cards and more.

Here's to being up for anything!
