An All-White, Backyard Wedding in Sonoma

Dave and Addie backyard soirée was filled with light, laughter, and lots of fun.

After a bright service at their local church, the newlyweds and guests took yellow schoolbuses back to their grandmother's home, where an intricate backyard reception awaited, decorated with string lights, beautiful neutral colors, and whimsical flowers.

Addie's brother brewed beer for the occasion, the dinner included her parents' wine, and Dave's dad made jam favors for all of the attendees. Other intimate touches, like the Superman logo that was sewn into Addie's dress (Dave's middle name is Clark and Addie's is Kent!) was a surprise for the groom.

The party, complete with a choreographed two-step first dance to Alison Kraus's "When You Say Nothing At All," set the tone for an evening of delicious food and partying.
