Mixing Old and New Memories

John and Olivia met on a blind date during their senior year of  college, about six weeks before they graduated. Needless to say, neither of them expected to begin a relationship at that point!

Luckily, they hit it off and both ended up moving to California (LA and SF respectively), and dated long-distance for about a year and a half before rejoining in the Bay. Though the period of Skype-dating and bi-monthly visits was fun, being in the same place was a million times better!

The couple chose Nicholson Ranch as the venue for their wedding because it was one of the first places they visited together in California. One of the first times John drove up to SF they drove to Sonoma for some wine tasting, and went to Nicholson Ranch (it was open later than the others–until 5:30 pm!). Once they started looking for venues, they wanted a place that felt special to them, and from there, everything fell into place.
