Lindsey and John’s wedding was a dream come true – a two year plan turned into a beautiful reality. Every last detail of their simple and elegant wedding was a gorgeous reflection of their pure and inspiring passion for one another. The wedding and reception were held amongst the beautiful redwoods and gardens in Sebastopol, California. The couple tried to keep everything as eco friendly and sustainable as possible, and even used caterers that compost!

John’s groomsmen made up the band, which played the procession and exit music during the ceremony. The best part? As Lindsey and John exited as husband and wife down the aisle, they played an amazing rendition of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love". Lindsey and her bridesmaids participated in traditional mehndi, which was stunning! Lindsey wore a stunning backless dress, and John wore cufflinks and a pin on his tie from his father and grandfather. Lindsey’s gorgeous white clutch purse was made from fabric from her Grandmother’s wedding dress.

The altar was created with salvaged wood and the newlyweds got to bang the gong after their first kiss, paying homage to Lindsey's chinese heritage. Guests enjoyed the couple’s specialty cocktail called “El Corazon” and dined on grilled fruit, vegetables, quinoa, roasted acorn squash and chicken – all local and organic. The table arrangements were planted by the bride and a friend and they used salvaged dresser drawers and even a kitchen strainer as planters. Gary Jules did a beautiful performance of “The Wind” by Cat Stevens and “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison. Many heartfelt toasts showed the vast amount of love that surrounds the couple. Twinkling lights, firepits, dancing, cornhole games, a s’more station and a handmade photobooth made the night so much fun.
