Samantha and Benjamin chose to return to Samantha's childhood home in Lake Tahoe to tie the knot together — quite a distance from their home in Chicago!
Their ceremony on the beach wasn't just special for the destination, however, but by the handmade details by the bride and other family members such as the barrel-aged negronis and the handmade napkins. It was also inspired by the earth for some features, with the centerpieces made from foraged materials. The couple had a very personal ceremony with a unity candle and readings from family members, for a wedding that was both connected to the surrounding nature and everyone present.
