Afici, from Alexander's Steakhouse Group, brings Italian and French flavors to SoMa

From chef Eric Upper of Alexander’s Steakhouse Group comes Afici, a contemporary American restaurant showcasing Italian and French flavors in San Francisco's SoMa.

The cuisine highlights local, seasonal ingredients alongside some of the best products from around the globe and, since Upper is an aficionado of handmade pastas, you can expect the noodle dishes to shine.

Whole animal butchery and strong classic techniques are also abundant on the menu. The duo of wagyu features A5 wagyu strip and braised brisket, which is rare to see on a menu. The charcuterie is also housemade, and the caviar is a private label hand harvested by the team.

The vibe is upbeat, chill, and welcoming, and the staff provides unparalleled service with seasoned expertise while maintaining a warm approach. Afici's refined simplicity is elegant enough for a special occasion and approachable enough for a culinary adventure.

Afici will also do its best to accommodate all dining and dietary restrictions, but due to the complexity of the menu they are regrettably unable to accommodate for plant-based, no-allium, sugar-free, and dairy free menus.
