Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg briefly found some of his social accounts hijacked. Screenshots preserved by the technology website Engadget appeared to show someone using the little-used Twitter account to say Zuckerberg was "in the LinkedIn database" and inviting the social media mogul to get in touch. Bay Area Rabbi Requested to Speak at Muhammad Ali Funeral, ABC7 News
Berkeley Rabbi Michael Lerner got a call from the boxing champ's family on Sunday asking him to speak at the memorial service this Friday. The two worked together in the peace movement challenging the Vietnam war. Ali personally left a request that Lerner speak at his funeral. Lerner will address the political views they both shared. "The real way to honor the memory of Muhammad Ali is to be as much as Muhammad Ali as you can be. That is to stand up to the powerful. To the inequality. This year at the San Mateo County Fair (now through June 19) amid the customary rides and pig races and the Eagles Tribute Band, you'll find a surprise of gargantuan proportions -- the Life Size Mousetrap game. It's all very awesome, a masterpiece of engineering. But kind of a bummer you can't actually play on it -- AS the ball. Instead, you just get to look at it, which is good, but not as good. Read More.
SF Voters Support Measure to Restore Bay Area Wetlands, SF Examiner
Measure AA, which needed to cross a two-thirds threshold to win and must ultimately be passed by a majority of voters within the Bay Area's nine counties, appears to have received 77 percent of the votes in its favor. The measure creates a new $12 annual parcel tax across the Bay Area for 20 years to raise $500 million to restore tidal marshes across the Bay Area. Read More.

California's economy is robust enough that the Golden State is nearly at full employment, according to a closely watched UCLA Anderson Forecast released Wednesday, and the Bay Area has already reached that sturdy level. Soda Health Warning Law Delayed by Order of U.S. Judge, Kron4
A San Francisco law that requires a health warning label on advertisements for sodas and other sugary drinks, will not go into effect on July 25 as scheduled. On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Edward Chen, in a ruling filed, granted beverage industry groups as preliminary injunction, blocking the law while they appeal a decision issued in May — in the favor or the measure.
