If you are lucky enough to spend this Mother's Day together, plan an epic brunch, fancy lunch, or family dinner to celebrate. If you must toast her from afar, consider shipping a lovely cake or send over some high-end takeout. Here's our curated list of what to order around the Bay Area.

Fete maman in Française style with a delightful lunch from downtown SF's Gallic culinary mecca. Fried Chicken Feast from "Accarrino's To Go" via SPQR

While you're probably used to epic pasta from classy Italian spot SPQR, these guys can make a mean fried chicken too. They take a whole or half bird and fry it up and prepare it with different seasonings -- for mom, it's going to be a Calabrian Hot Chicken version, inspired by Nashville's traditional recipes. Make sure to order a bottle of Ferrari bubbly to complete your celebrations. Brunch Kits from Gap Year at Nico

Let's get that breakfast in bed going for mom! Gap Year at Nico is putting together lavish brunch spread options to celebrate. Dishes include baked egg with smoked salmon and cauliflower ($26); a crêpe kit with batter, fresh strawberries, strawberry preserve, Chantilly, and almonds ($24); a chocolate sourdough babka ($25); pâté en croûte with fermented carrots and mustard ($18); and even caviar service with blini batter and traditional accoutrements ($110). Truffle honey crepes from Truffle Shuffle

For this meal, there's some assembly required, but who doesn't love a good ole cooking sesh with mom? The Truffle Shuffle specializes in goods like truffle salt and truffle honey and has adapted these tasty ingredients into cooking kits and classes that shuffle weekly. This Sunday, put together a tasty brunch spread via their live digital cooking classes. On the menu, crepe suzette with brown butter truffle honey and a grapefruit cocktail. Fine dining from Atelier Crenn

What better way to celebrate Mom than with a world-class meal from a Michelin-starred chef? Dominique Crenn has just added a brand new to-go menu for her fine-dining restaurant Atelier Crenn. Goodies in your Crenn Kit include Bleu Belle Farm vegetable soup, spinach and ricotta cannelloni, sliced brioche, and a dessert by pastry chef Juan Contreras. Should you want to get a beverage as well, add on a blind tasting kit with three half bottles of vino for a fun activity and great drinks. Japanese eats from Ippuku

Get ready to finally get your Japanese food fix with the tasty options at Ippuku. Get mom their daily bento box ($15), an omakase chef's pick of five meat skewers ($18), squid ink fried rice ($10), Japanese curry ($10), or chicken dumplings ($10). Asian Fusion Feast from Hawking Bird

Go big with a spread of Southeast Asian dishes from the devilishly good Hawking Bird. Grab a few fried chicken sandwiches with chili jam and fresh green chilies, tofu in yellow curry, garlic noodles, and blistered green beans, and mom'll be sitting pretty. Dungeness Crab Spread from Boudin Bakery

Crab season is ending early this year, so take advantage of a reason to celebrate and dive into a smorgasbord of succulent crab meat while you have the chance. OG restaurant Boudin Bakery is bringing the Fisherman's Wharf experience to you with Boudin sourdough, Caesar salad, pasta marinara, fresh steamed Dungeness Crab, drawn butter, and homemade cocktail sauce—plus bibs. // Dungeness crab feasts ($99 for two people, $198 for four) and bottles of Sonoma Cutrer ($25) can be ordered by calling 877-988-1849. Napa valley folks can get a celebratory meal made from some of the freshest ingredients around. Long Meadow Ranch puts together daily family meals from their harvests, each featuring a protein, three or four sides, and a dessert. Past dishes include crispy porchetta, mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled asparagus, cheddar biscuits, and blood orange upside down cake. You can also go a la carte with such options as grilled trout, St. Louis ribs, arborio rice, or a cheeseburger. Sweets from Miette

Okay this one is technically not a full meal, but Miette is launching a new Ship-a-Cake service and we can't contain our excitement. As of Friday, May 1st, we can now order cakes and candies to be shipped or available for curbside pickup. For Mother's Day, we suggest picking up a selection of their best sweets or a lush cake to round out your main meal. The Mother's Day gift box includes lavender shortbread, floral meringues, rose Turkish delights, a rococo chocolate neroli bar, a box of Pastiglie Leones candies, and rose bud gummy candies.
