SF-based Credo Beauty launches clean makeup for all skin tones + more style scoop

Credo Beauty is debuting Exa, its first-ever line of makeup featuring a hella inclusive foundation—we're talking 43 shades, you guys.

Plus, Love Is Project's new bracelet collection celebrates Mexico's cultural heritage, local print shop The Aesthetic Union reopens the doors, and a fresh Voter necklace helps spread the word of democracy.

Right now, we can't get enough of Love Is Project's recently launched Corazón Collection. The colorful bracelets, crafted Mexican women, add a touch of much-needed brightness to these moody days. From Chaquira and Talavera to Palma and the namesake Corazón, the handmade jewelry incorporates the artisans' native culture with Spanish influence.

Each bracelet tells a unique story through color, the technique used to make it, and the symbols that adorn it. And as with all LIP's designs, the wrist candy is sustainably made via an ethical supply chain and with a charitable component. (We expect nothing less from Bay Area founder and phenomenal woman Chrissie Lam.) A portion of proceeds from the Love is Love set goes to the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit empowering LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. Prices range from $15 to $55. More amor please. // loveisproject.com

Credo launches its first inclusive makeup line. Hello, Exa.

Clean beauty retailer Credo can hardly contain its excitement as it introduces its first makeup line to the world. Exa comes out of the gate with two vegan, cruelty- and gluten-free products for all skin types and ages: Jump Start Smoothing Primer and High Fidelity Foundation. The latter comes in, you ready?, 43 shades. (Don't worry, there's a shade finder.) This makes Exa the most shade-inclusive range in the clean-beauty universe. Plus, the semi-satin finish with anti-pollution properties shields skis from free radicals and urban dust (ew). "Exa embraces all shades—but beyond that, the performance and wear is incredible. We wanted Exa to shatter expectations and redefine what clean beauty can be and who it's for," says Annie Jackson, Credo cofounder/COO.

The smoothing primer has a semi-matte finish and is charged with a triple antioxidant blend. The foundation sells for $38; primer is $34. Buy both and get a deal for $59. Exa is available at Credo stores and online.

Hipsters rejoice: The Aesthetic Union reopens with a whole new look.

(Courtesy of The Aesthetic Union)

Everyone's been stuck at home for months and staring at the same ol' walls, which is why we're so happy The Aesthetic Union is open again for IRL biz. (It had been closed since mid-March due to Covid-19, and for a retrofit and store redesign.)

Invigorate your space by grabbing a new original print or poster or two (plus pens) from the Mission letterpress print/design shop. Tops on our list: A Road to Nowhere by TAE founder James Lewis Tucker. The boss man also leads virtual workshops where, for $25, wannabe printers get an exclusive look at how an artist creates a letterpress print from start to finish. Ooh and ah, ask questions, give your two cents on color choices—and see for yourself why TAE is the go-to printer for Tartine, Everlane, Bathing Culture, and Heath Ceramics. At the end, that very print is available for purchase…consider it your very own collab with JLT.

Get out the vote with this new celeb-approved necklace.

(Courtesy of Stella and Bow)

Not since the "I Voted" sticker became all the rage have we been this excited about an accessory celebrating democracy's paramount civic duty. California jewelry brand Stella and Bow partnered with I Am a Voter on an exclusive, limited-edition Voter nameplate necklace. Mad-cute and available in gold vermeil or sterling silver, $30 of the $65 purchase price goes to the non-partisan movement whose mission is to create a cultural shift around voting. No surprise, several celebs—including Sophia Bush, Chelsea Handler, Joey King, and Debra Messing—have already been spotted wearing the timeless piece. PSA: Do it in person, by mail, or via carrier pigeon...just V-O-T-E. // stellaandbow.com
