1. Bad Santa's Christmas Industry Party: The folks at Tacolicious' sister tequila bar Mosto are hosting a Monday-night holiday bash for folks in the restaurant and bar industry, but everyone is invited. Good thing, because they're offering $7 St. George Spirits and Del Maguey mezcal cocktails like the Elf Offender (bourbon, mezcal, Aztec bitters, agave), the Vixen (gin, mezcal, grilled pineapple, mint, agave, lime, Jarritos tamarindo soda), and Saint Rompope (a Mexican eggnog with rum, bourbon, mezcal, and other fixings). They'll also have a raffle, and holiday-themed costumes are encouraged. (Monday, December 17, 6:30-11 pm, at Mosto, 741 Valencia St., Mission.)
2. BLK Saturday: Been meaning to check out the NWBLK, the hip Mission pop-up space that we profiled in our November issue? Now's your chance to drop in and get some holiday shopping done, to boot. They're hosting a Saturday market featuring their fashion and design brands, from bag-maker Basil Racuk to fashion label N.I.C.E. Collective, alongside a selection of culinary vendors curated by Tablehopper's Marcia Gagliardi, like Socola Chocolates and Jarred SF. Grab a glass of sparkling wine and some tacos from Tango & Stache and browse to your heart's content. (Saturday, December 15, 11-4 pm, at the NWBLK, 1999 Bryant St., Mission.)
3. Sous Beurre Kitchen's Final Dinner: The folks behind Sous Beurre Kitchen, a French pop-up restaurant that took the night shift at Mission coffeehouse Sugarlump, are getting ready to move to a space of their own just down 24th Street. Before they go, though, they're offering a final meal of treats like fondue, bouillabaisse, and rocky road, served family-style. To pair with your meal, they'll be offering specials on wine carafes, and corkage is only $10 if you BYO. Tickets to the dinner are $45. (Friday, December 14, seatings from 6-9 pm, at Sugarlump, 2862 24th St., Mission.)
4. Return to Terroir Tasting: Return to Terroir, which specializes in wines from small, family-owned, and sustainable French producers, is hosting a tasting of their portfolio at Hotel Biron on Saturday afternoon, along with discounts on mixed cases of six bottles or more for holiday entertaining. Admission is $10 at the door, which is redeemable on the purchase of any wine at the tasting. (Saturday, December 15, 12-4 pm, at Hotel Biron, 45 Rose St., Hayes Valley.)
5. Sherry Christmas at 15 Romolo: If you've been meaning to learn more about sherry and its use in cocktails, head over to 15 Romolo for their special Christmas menu, featuring 14 sherry-centric cocktails like the Santa's Suckerpunch (bourbon, Aperol, Pedro Ximenez sherry, lemon, bitters; $11), the White Elephant (white port, manzanilla sherry, spiced liqueur, sherry vinegar, absinthe; $9), and the Juice for Jesus Swizzle (cranberry liqueur, ruby port, cognac, lemon, fino sherry, whiskey-barrel bitters; $10). Romolo's bar bites have also taken a Spanish turn for the occasion, with offerings like shrimp a la plancha with garlic confit ($8), beef and pork meatballs with romesco ($8), and sherried mushrooms ($5). (Through December, at 15 Romolo, 15 Romolo Pl., North Beach.)
