It's National Bourbon Heritage Month, and Elixir Saloon is celebrating by offering $2 off a 1 1/2 ounce pour of a different bourbon every day. Featured bourbons range from common, popular whiskies like Bulleit and Wild Turkey to some of the bar's rarest bottles. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or just a little thirsty, you'll find something to quench your desire at this weekend's 3rd Annual Craft Spirits Carnival at Fort Mason. From 2 to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday (or 1 pm for VIPs), you'll find more than 100 handcrafted, ultra-premium spirits brands pouring sample shots and cocktails for the ticketed masses. For $80 - $125, you'll enjoy unlimited tastes and origin stories from the likes of Crop Organic Vodka, Stillwater Spirits, St. Germain, Outlaw Moonshine, and dozens more distillers. If you like what you taste, you can buy a bottle on the spot. When you're ready for a break from the hard stuff, visit the craft beer saloon for a round or two, where you'll find a dozen craft brews from the Bay Area and beyond. Press Club Hosts Annual Harvest Tasting

17 wineries from Santa Barbara to the Sonoma Coast will converge on SF this Sunday for Press Club's annual harvest tasting event. The three-hour event begins at 2 pm and includes some of the latest vintages, rare finds, library and vertical tastings, and small bites from the Press Club menu. For $30 per person, you can mix and mingle with Head Sommelier Mauro Cirilli and representatives pouring wine from Corison, Kismet Wines, Lacuna, Caraccioli Cellars, Hendry, Keenan Winery, Skylark, Meteor Vineyard, Sonria, Emerson Brown, ONX, Calluna Vineyards, Kunin, Anomaly Vineyards, Mathis, Fort Ross, and Paradigm. "Enlisted Men's" Happy Hour at Presidio Social Club

Presidio Social Club is welcoming its new neighbor, the Presidio Officers' Club, with a special happy hour this Tuesday. Join the party on the outdoor patio from 2 to 5 pm, where you'll be treated to complimentary Sloppy Joe sliders and $3 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. The event begins immediately after the Officers' Club opening festivities, which are free and open to the public, but require registration. Blackbird Bar Releases the "Fur Trapper"

Spurred by the huge success of their five year barrel-aged cocktail program this summer, Blackbird Bar's bar gurus are at it again. After selling out of the first round almost immediately, Bar Manager Matt Grippo made an even larger batch this time, allowing second round stragglers to taste a sip of the action. Starting today, Blackbird will offer the Fur Trapper, an intricate and deliciously smooth cocktail with a delicate sweetness that features white rye aged in wood. Created by bartender Regina Schauerte and made with Trybox White Rye, Ramos Pintos white port, Mandarine Napoleon and brandy, the Fur Trapper ($10) is served in a coupe and garnished with an orange twist.
