CIA's Debut Pop-Up Restaurant
The Culinary Institute of America, St. Helena is kicking off a series of hosted pop-up restaurants with a debut appearance from Twenty Five Lusk this week. The menu—created by Executive Chef Matthew Dolan, a CIA alum—will include: Savory Cauliflower Crème Brûlée; Salt Roasted Heirloom Beet Salad; Yellowfin Tuna Terrine; Schnitzel Of Sturgeon; Maine Lobster Risotto; Chicken Fried Quail; and Spiced Chocolate Truffle Cake for dessert.

La Urbana's 1-Year Anniversary
La Urbana is turning one, and celebrating with a week's worth of festivities including a special prix fixe menu, the start of all-day brunch, a mezcal lab, and more. This Thursday through Saturday try their favorite menu offering from the past year with an eight-course meal including oyster ceviche with sea foam; chicharrón de arroz; huevo con chorizo; and al pastor topped with crab and peaches. To kick off the three-day prix fixe menu celebration, each guest who dines at La Urbana on Thursday, September 11 will receive a complimentary welcome drink.

September Sake+Wine Pairing Menu
FIVE's Chef Tonnelier is introducing a special $85 five-course tasting menu and wine pairing this month including chilled poached prawns with mango apple salsa and coconut milk broth paired with Tozai Junmai Nigori Sake from Japan, and pan-seared glazed sweetbread sliders with mushroom fricassee and local quail eggs paired with Domaine Giachion’s Altesse Roussette de Savoie. Sounds perfect.

Bacon Mac 'N' Cheeseburger at Lucky Strike
