Take a unique approach to group dining with Hunt + Gather, a collaborative dinner experience. Prior to the event, each guest will receive instructions to hunt for local ingredients based on different descriptions. The collective ingredients will be gathered at the dinner where Chef, Leif Hedendal will prepare and plate a four-course meal incorporating the ingredients that guests have sourced. Celebrate Easter Sunday with the lovely ladies of Sunday’s A Drag at The Starlight Room’s annual “Easter Bonnet Contest.” Wear your favorite Easter bonnet for a chance to impress host, Donna Sachet, and win two tickets to an upcoming Sunday’s A Drag show with an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet. Reservations are highly recommended, and can be made by calling 415-395-8595. The shows will start at 12 pm and 2:30 pm at The Starlight Room, 450 Powell Street, San Francisco.

Looking for something savory? Baker & Banker will serve new Easter brunch dishes such as Baked Eggs in a Cast Iron Skillet, and Biscuits and Gravy. If you prefer something sweet, the menu will also feature a French Toast Bread Pudding with Meyer lemon curd and huckleberry citrus syrup. Guests can also enjoy a special Passover menu featuring matzo ball soup, brisket, and flourless chocolate cake from now until April 2. Sunday brunch will be served from 10 am-2 pm. Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen gets in the Easter spirit by offering deviled eggs served six ways! Jasper’s will be serving unique flavors like Black Garlic & Chorizo and Avocado Green Goddess. Service starts at 11:30 and the menu will be available all day, so you can stop by and try one or sample them all. Reservations can be made here. 401 Taylor Street, San Francisco.

If you’re still not sure where to indulge for the day, The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa in Berkeley should have you covered with one of their three Easter dining options. From 11:30 am-5 pm, Meritage at the Claremont will host its popular Easter brunch, which includes a variety of family-friendly activities. In addition to brunch, Meritage will also offer a six-course, pre-fixe menu from 2-8 pm, with a wine-pairing option. Another option is the Claremont’s Paragon Restaurant & Bar, which hosts a four-course, pre-fixe menu all day for $59. Also across the Bay, Hopscotch in Oakland will serve up a $30 prix-fixe menu which includes any brunch item and bottomless mimosas. Guests can try the brand new signature Porchetta and Poached egg dish with fresh Jidori eggs or the special Easter Skillet with asparagus tips and fresh garbanzo beans. Brunch starts at 10:30 am.
