Beginning this Saturday, Chambers Eat + Drink puts new meaning into the phrase "hair of the dog," thanks to the debut of their "Recovery Brunch." For weekend warriors only, heal your aches and pains with their bottomless mimosas, which are free with purchase of an entree. That's not a bad deal at all, considering their playful menus items like Egg in a Hole, Pigs in a Blanket, Hangover Hash, and the ever-popular Chambers Burger, which features a smoked onion marmalade, whole grain aioli, house pickles and wagon wheel cheese. Yum! Oh, and did we mention you'll be enjoying all of this poolside? Every Saturday starting Sept. 7, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. 601 Eddy Street at the Phoenix Hotel.

To celebrate the kick-off of football season, Elixir is rolling out the red carpet for the hungry and the thirsty hoards looking to party. From 1 pm until close, this preeminent cocktail bar in the Mission will provide free sandwiches from 1058 Hoagie and the Deli Board for you to grub on while you enjoy their drink specials, which will feature Tanqueray gin, Bulleit bourbon, Dickel whiskey, and Zacapa rum. Talk about the best Sunday ever. 3200 16th Street.
Jasper's Corner Tap and Kitchen starts its Badass Brunch series, so mark your calendars. Enjoy their soulful menu, created by Executive Chef Mike Ransom, which include his poblano relleno with roasted pork, poached eggs, roasted corn and a tomato chili marmalade, a chicken-fried quail and waffle dish, a maitake frittata with goat cheese, braised leeks, and a roasted tomato vinaigrette, and more. And duh, there will be cocktails! Jasper's has a dedicated section on their menu to Bloody Marys, as well as a Royales section. Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am-2:30 pm. 401 Taylor Street.

Honor China's annual Autumn Moon Festival with traditional moon cakes from M.Y. China. Moon cakes are a traditional gift celebrating the harvest during the autumn full moon. In Chinese culture, moon cakes are shared with family and friends as a symbol of the unity and the completeness of families. And by the way, they're delicious. It never hurts to add new destinations to your weekday lunch map, right? Well, if Michael Mina wasn't already on there, it will be now–thanks to their newly unveiled "3 for $35" lunch deals. For a three-course business lunch that's sure to impress and satisfy, try their new, ingredient-driven menu which features a choice of soup or salad, followed by choice of entree, and a dessert of sweet Tahini from Pastry Chef Lincoln Carson.
