Keven Wilson, San Franciso chef and founder of ReFormation Foods is hosting a restaurant pop-up event with a prix-fixe, four-course meal featuring fresh, local ingredients, including a roasted porcini soup, mackerel escabeche, whole lamb with turnips and olive jus, and a pear and pistachio granita. Join in Camino restaurant’s upcoming celebration of James Oseland's new book, "The Way We Cook: Portraits from Around the World." At 11:30am attendees will enjoy snacks and drinks, meet James Oseland (editor in chief of Saveur magazine), and get their books signed.  Following the signing, chef Russ Moore will prepare a three-course lunch in the celebrated Camino fireplace that features menu items inspired by James Oseland's book. Calling crustacean lovers of all ages! Nick’s Cove Restaurant, Cottages & Oyster bar is hosting its inaugural Crab Catch this November. Partake in various crab-centric acitivities ranging from a Tomales Bay crab-catching competition, a cooking demo with Executive chef Austin Perkins, and a three-course Dungeness crab tasting menu with a portion of the day’s proceeds benefiting the Petaluma Educational Foundation. Register for both the cooking demonstration and/or the crab catching competition here. Join Traci des Jardin in her celebration of Jardinière’s 15-year anniversary at a special benefit dinner to raise money for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign.  The event will be divided into two parts: an Alumni Sous Chef Cocktail Party from 5:30-7:00p.m. and a dinner prepared by many of her alumni chefs including Craig Patzer of Google and Paul Lemieux of Auberge du Soliel.
