Marin Brew Co. and Moylan's Bringing Together 50 Craft Breweries for Breast Cancer Fundraiser at Fort Mason

The enjoyment of boobs and beer isn't limited to stunted man-children in Budweiser commercials. This weekend, craft-beer fans can support impoverished women who are battling cancer by attending Breastfest at Fort Mason. The 11th annual event, sponsored by Marin Brewing Co. and Moylan's, brings together over 50 breweries from the Bay Area and beyond. Sample tastes from local favorites like Russian River, Stone, Moonlight, and Drake's, or go farther afield with brews from Allagash (Maine), Big Sky (Montana), and Maui Brewing Co.

Tickets to the Breastfest are $45 in advance (the door price is $50), and can be purchased here. The event runs from 5-9 pm, but for an extra $10, attendees get access to a special VIP hour of tasting at 4, before the general public is admitted. All proceeds go to benefit the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, which provides free counseling, acupuncture, massage, and organic food to low-income women fighting breast cancer. The price of admission also includes live music from the 80's hair-metal cover band Metal Shop, food, and a complimentary tasting glass to take home.
