Oh boy, this could be trouble. Saturday marks the return of Modern Economy (one of our favorite events) to Fort Mason's Conference Center. Started by Meg Mateo Ilasco in 2006, Modern Economy sales provide an outlet for independent designers from all over the US to sell their samples and overstocked goods at up to 80% off the retail price, all under one roof. The list of participants this year is really exciting, including such notables as Ferm Living, Perch!, Thomas Paul, Nantaka Joy, and many, many more (see the full list here). The sale is one day only from 10:30AM to 3PM and admission is free, so go early and be prepared for some serious shopping. We'll be sure to see you there!
