You weren't planning on going outside this weekend, right? According to White House officials, President Barack Obama will visit the Bay Area on Friday to attend various fundraising events. 

Obama will attend Democratic National Committee and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee events Friday evening and will stay the night in San Francisco before returning to Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

Considering the state of politics right now, take this opportunity to welcome Obama with open arms.

The president's last visit to the Bay Area was in February, when he attended fundraisers in Atherton and Palo Alto and spent the night in Milpitas.
