The Sweet Scoop

Salt & Straw, the Portland-based scoop shop with a cult following, opens in San Francisco Friday. Check out the signature flavors—think sea salt with caramel ribbons and chocolate gooey brownie—that have Portlandians all gaga, and get a load of new flavors exclusive to SF, including caramelized almond s'more and, deep breath, green apple mayo sherbet. Sound strange? Go taste for yourself. PS: Look for future flavor collaborations with the likes of Dandelion Chocolate, Sightglass Coffee, and more. // 2201 Fillmore St. (Pac Heights), saltandstraw.com
