San Francisco's Clift Hotel to debut fresh renovations in 2020

Designed for beauty, adaptability and convenience, The Clift will become a place that reveals the past and embraces the accelerating pace of the future. The hotel's updated ambiance will mingle traditional touches with the beauty of San Francisco.

The Clift's 372 spacious guest rooms and suites are a continuation of the hotel's modern and welcoming spaces. Originally constructed for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915, the hotel has newly renovated its guest rooms in a manner inspired by that historic event.

Soon to become a welcome respite for the local community to refresh and engage, the revamped Clift will house collaborative meeting and event spaces all filled with natural light and offering city views.

The renovation will also bring an exciting new restaurant: Fredericks, named in a nod to the hotel's founder, Frederick C. Clift, will feature a high-end coffee program, gourmet pastries and snacks, and elevated comfort food.

The beloved Redwood Room is also getting a sleek update to showcase and highlight its original redwood panels and marquetry with a focus on high-end service and glamour.
